Volunteer Program

Volunteer Program

At Montclair Hospital Medical Center, our volunteers are a vital component of our healthcare team. In fact, they are such an integral part of our day-to-day activities that we consider them as important to a patient's overall health and recovery.

Why Volunteer?

The type of person who chooses to volunteer his or her time to helping hospital patients is looking for more than an activity that passes the time. The volunteers at Montclair Hospital Medical Center contribute to the comfort, care and well-being of our patients and their friends and family.

Getting Started

The Volunteer Program is open to men, women and young adults (minimum age requirement is 18) from Montclair and surrounding areas. Each volunteer selected is oriented and trained in an area that is appropriate taking into consideration that person's unique talents and interests. While some volunteers come to Montclair looking to have direct interaction with patients, others prefer helping behind the scenes. What's important is that the experience is both rewarding for the volunteer and helpful for patients and staff.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, or you would like more information, please contact the volunteer coordinator at 909-625-8114.
